Delightfully citrusy, with heavy focus on lemon and pine notes for this Belgian style IPA brewed with American hops. Poured a bright yellow, almost pilsener color, with cloudy white and yellow hues. A beautiful, tasty beer. jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - APR 3, 2012
on tap at GLBC, 30Mar2012.. my friend was stoked about trying this beer and i must say he has good taste, citrus nose folds nicely into the yeasty belgian flavor.. works quite well though not as hoppy as I thought it might have been still quite tasty. shadey (2135) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 1, 2012
From Growler at the brewery. Pours a creamy golden with a thin white head of cream and lace. Aroma is lightly hoppy with plenty of sweet malt and Belgian yeast. The malts are prevalent up-front, with the hops appearing in the finish to clean things up. Very palatable and easy to drink. Very well done for a brewery that I don’t associate with Belgian style beers. JaBier (7972) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAR 26, 2012
Tulip glass at GLBC on 3/24/12. Opaque orange/amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma of banana, citrus and malt. Yeasty banana and pepper flavor with malt and earthy hops. Nicely balanced, but as someone who enjoys IPAs a lot and Belgians not so much, would have liked it to be a little more unbalanced. Just personal preference and not taking away from this well-crafted brew.
