3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Pours golden with a smallish head. Grassy hops and some light bread. Slightly metallic. Not the first pilsner I’d buy.
Poured into a pils glass.
3.5 A: Clear dark yellow color. Two and a half fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is a tad below average, but a lot of lacing is left.
3.5 S: Grass, hay, earthy hops. Not a lot going on and not a lot of intensity, but it’s super clean, which I like.
3.5 T: Like the nose, this lacks vigor, but it’s again super clean. Grass, hay, earth.
3.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Pleasantly creamy.
3.5 D: Not the most exciting of beers, but it’s well made, crisp, and clean.

Old rating. Straw colored. Floral hops on a light grain backbone. Dry and bitter finish. Good pils. climberbob (497) - Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2015
Bottle into Pilsner glass. Bright golden w think white head. Not much aroma. Floral bitter hops on the front w a dry finish. Ok but too bitter/ hoppy. Not really balanced.

Brown bottle into a 14 oz. pilsner glass
A: Very light haystraw color with not much loosish white head. Some lacing evident with small lingering "patterns" around the glass. A good amount of carbonation. Second bottle yielded much more head. Two fingers or so and slow to recede.
S: Malted barley, grainy, bready with little hop character detected.
T: Similar to the smell but hops are definitely present with a very agreeable herbal or floral taste. Good snappy hop bitterness. Of course the crispness of the malts from the nose is the frontrunner, finishing with the bitter hop note. Well balanced and very drinkable. Very nice. I like it a lot.
M: Light body as expected but not as light as the color would indicate. Quite dry with crisp, snappy and again dry finish. Good carbonation tingle.
O: Pleasantly surprised as this is my first Great Lakes product. I would definitely return to this. Should be year round.

Rated on 03-01-2013 at Great Lakes B.C. This draft beer has a small off-white head that is mostly lasting, transparent golden body, very little carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus, floral, grassy hops and malt. The flavor mimics the aroma along with light bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is quaffable, worth trying and a beer I would drink again.

Named for the Wright Brothers. A pilsner that is exactly what you would want. Its a golden color with a mild aroma and a flowery palate. Nice beer for a spring day. HughConway (831) - Washington, USA - OCT 16, 2014
12 oz bottle. Pours clear yellow, stiff white head. Aroma of grass hops, taste is clear with crisp hop back. It’s a nice beer that’d go down great all night. conway (2210) - - OCT 14, 2014
Bottle. Clear straw color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is grain, floral and some fruity sweetness. Taste follows and adds some pear. Creamy mouthfeel and moderate carb. Very flavorful and not at all a traditional Pilsner. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - OCT 1, 2014
Tap: Pale straw body with a frothy white head, lots of lacing left along the glass, all over. Very mild aroma. Some grain, barley, pale malt, a touch of floral notes. Really hard to pull anything off the nose until it warms up a bit. Flavor is much more definitive.... Spicy floral notes, earthy Noble hop flavor, cracked pepper spiciness, soft grains, bready malts, drying citrus spritz towards the finish. A little bit of corny sulfric flavor peaks through mid-palate between the hoppy to bready malt transition. Dry finish. Drinkable, a decent pilsner. Bottle. Deep golden color on this, with a firm pillowtop head. This drinks with a very rich mouthfeel, quite meaty even. There’s a definite corn tilt to the base, but there’s the requisite Teutonic bite, making this a sturdy offering. (#5749, 9/27/2014)
