Clearish brown, but dark in color. Holds a good white head. Strong, malty bland and sweet aroma. Slight chalk on the palate. Flavor is that of a watery brown ale, with a medicinal flavor that seems to fun through these beers from Great Leap. I dont’ know if its the water or what. It would be great to use thoose copper tanks up front instead of the stainless vats in the back, but copper sells beer. omhper (26227) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 15, 2014
Keg at the brewpub. Cloudy nut brown, mid sized head. Caramel aroma. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dusty caramel, pears and salmiak. Really bitter finish. Warming. thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 11, 2014
