COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The banana wheat contains no bananas. Our classic hefeweizen the banana wheat is our summer poorer that keeps you warm through the fall and winter. Brewed and fermented to bring out the natural banana-y flavours inherent in wheat malt and wheat yeast the banana wheat is awesome bread in a glass.

Draft at GL. Light wheat brew, with a dash of banana taste. Pretty good weisse with an unusual twist.

Keg at the brewpub. Cloudy straw colour, no head. Banana and tiger balm up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Bubblegum and banana, notes of mustard seeds. No bitterness.

This was very good. Yellow in colour with creamy white head. Tasty and sweet and a little nicely sour.

More of a Berliner Weisse in its sour composition. Quite nice and refreshing. Has the wheaty sweetness but a dominant citrus sour as in a Belgian yeast. Enjoyable.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 23, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Cloudy burnt orange with small head. Spicy banana aroma with alcohol dryness apparent. Spicy house yeast character adding astringency. Nice tree bark, roots character adding depth. Quite full-bodied.

Cloudy tan colour. Definitely a bernsteinweizen. The aroma is light and accented towards banana. Soft body, light and with a touch of acidity. Flavours mix banana and wheat. Ok wheat beer, maybe a bit yeasty/unrefined.
