From tap at Planet Oedipus ’17. Aroma is grainy malt with strong floral and herbal notes, herbal tea, fruits, citrus, lemongrass, big herbal. Flavour is medium bitter. Body is medium. Drinking this I could have sworn it was a Lager. Anyway, I dig me some herbal tea in beer and this one delivers.

On tap at Planet Oedipus. Golden colour, white head. A bit of a boring Belgian Blond Ale with some strong lager notes. Didn’t get any of the tea. Light bodied.

Fles @ Planet Oedipus Music & Beer Festival, Amsterdam.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2017 On tap at Planet Oedipus Festival 2017 on 13-Aug-2017. Slightly hazy golden amber with a small white head. Aroma of floral tea, barley, malt, yeast and spices. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is medium sweet malt, wheat and a smudge of oolong. Interesting floral artisan ale, but not overly exciting.

Fairly typical blonde in appearance and aroma. Taste has some oolong in the background. A bit bland despite the tea.

Draft at Planet Oedipus ’17. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, light fruits, grassy notes, dough and malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Another one with so weak aroma. But what can be noticed is rather nice and also strange. A bit of bubble gum and citrus. Bright yellow color, poor head, nice lacing. In taste it’s mostly lack of it unfortunately. Quite malty and citrusy. Pleasant tiny bitterness in the backend. Good refreshing mouthfeel, drinkable.

Pours blonde with the slightest of haze. Holds a good white head. Faint bready malt aroma. Drinkable. It has that balanced blonde flavor (bread, yeast, dough, bitterness) with more hops than most blondes ending in a nice bitter finish. If I had to go down on a blonde it would be this one. And for the record, I don’t even like blondes, beer or otherwise; everybody knows that.

On tap at Great Leap 12. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of malt. Sweet finish.
