On draught at the brewpub in Whitefish, Montana. Pours a light semi-hazed golden pale brew with a thin white head that quicjly dissipates to a fine film and good lacing. Aroma of sweet huckleberries, light flour bread malt and soft flowery hops. The berry scent is the strongest of all others. Taste is lightly carbonated, light bodied, with a good balance of malt and berry flavors. Finish is light, smooth with a lingering berry aftertaste. I love Huckleberries. So for me to give anything a low score with Huckleberries this beer must have missed the boat. The aroma was great but then this beer missed the huckleberry boat. There are much better huckleberry beers out there. Need to go to Idaho for these. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2005
Pours a hazy golden brownish color. Aromas of mild berries, wheat bread, and a touch of hops. Flavor is a nice balance of soft fruit flavor with malts and a crisp dry finish. I’m not big on fruit beers, but this one has a subdued flavor, not over the top. stevoj (4953) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 20, 2016
Bottle from Albertsons. Dull pour, aroma is berries, but seems candy-ish, flavor smooths out a bit, and body has a nice silky feel to it. Wheat is probably a nice base for this, and presents a decent summer quencher. muzzlehatch (4950) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 9, 2004
12 oz bottle, courtesy of Slikwily & Rastacouere. At first I thought, "Wild Huckleberry" what the hell? But... looks like a Wit, bright orange and hazy. Nose very fresh, strong berry presence but also vanilla and citrus. Flavor fruity, acidic, fairly full bodied for a lager, nice tart finish. I'm not blown away, but it was certainly a nice surprise (thanks again guys!) and an above average fruit beer.

Chemical-like huckleberry aroma. Slightly cloudy pale yellow. I hope these are huckleberry seeds because they look like sperm. Initial baking soda quality. Very tart finish. Maybe not as bad as this rating sounds but not a combination I would continue brewing. #700. ads135 (4587) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 11, 2015
Pours pale yellow with a billowy head. Aroma is fruity sweet, but the flavor seems more dominated by a musty malt than whatever a huckleberry is supposed to taste like... tiggmtl (4545) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2010
Plenty of berries with some corn in the nose. Clear blonde body is topped by a low white head that recedes to ring. Mild sweet and somewhat soapy floral and berry flavours. Light body with strong carbonation. Chalice. Fridge temperature. Bottle sampled at presario’s Als vs. Stamps tasting. jsquire (4420) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JUN 15, 2004
Pale yellow out of the bottle with a thin, fizzy white head. Sweet berry nose with a little soda pop sensation to it. Light berry fruit flavors. I don’t know what huckleberries taste like, but this was like blueberries and raspberries with a light dusting of white sugar. Finish is a little more tart. Not a bad version of a fruit beer. Thanks to slikwily for the bottle. BillKismet (4041) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 24, 2009
Pale, cloudy yellow, with stream of thick bubbles feeding a weak head. Huckleberry pierces through the wafting wheaty notes. Mellow berry flavor. With mild tart sour wheat to balance the sweetness. A respectable, lightly flavorful, fruit beer.
