Cask at GBBF, August 2006. Pale amber colour. Herbal hop aroma with a hint of resin and a suggestion of biscuity malt. Pronounced grassy, hoppy flavour. Citric bite on the finish. A juicy, well-executed beer.

Beer Festival, 2007. Golden beer with a dryly hopped aroma and a well hopped flavour. Overall an average beer.
Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a nice fruityness, as well as light floral hoppy notes, leading to a dry and slightly bitter end.

Cask, Leicester Fest 06. Golden with a small head. Aromas are sweet caramel with peach and citrus. Fresh hoppy and spicy with pine needles. Flavours are dry with caramel malts on the base. UPDATED: AUG 29, 2011 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Tavern Northampton. A golden coloured biiter with a lovely hoppy aroma of lemons and grapfruit. The taste is also full of nice juicy fruity hoppy flavours. Nicely bitter and very tasty. Another top beer from GOB.Score 3.8
