Pint can. Poured clear copper with a tall, sticky, well-retained off-white head. The aroma picked up dank floral and grapefruity hops over biscuits and some grapefruit meat.. more biscuit on the back of the nose. The flavor found tangy citrus on the tip of the tongue with sweet caramel and biscuity malt following.. black pepper and more citrus zest laced throughout.. finished dry with sharp, slightly off-putting residual bitterness. Lighter-bodied and a tad grainy on the palate.. adequate carbonation kept it moving.. decent drinker overall.

Sampled at the W&C Place Beer Fest 2016. It poured a yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was of grapefruit, caramel malts, grass and citrus. The taste was similar to the aroma with more grapefruit, malts, and some pine. Tasty.

In the can from an 8 can GR multipack purchased at Hy-Vee Rock Island. It poured a dark amber with a moderately lasting head. Aromas were of caramel biscuit malt and of course grassy and grapefruity hops. The taste matched this exactly, and closed out to a neutral finish. Fairly tame/mainstream, but it works. Id have another soon.

Pretty boring IPA. Nothing interesting to say, average everything. Like how it comes in a can. WOuldnt buy myself, was a gift from my brother. Not dissatisfied, just way better options out there than this offering.

Can thanks to johns grocerys gift wrap department. Nose is piney with some light grassiness to it. Initial flavor us sweet, kind if crackery and then falls off to a watery bitter concoction. Finished pretty dry and lifeless.
