Can at James’ place for a tasting. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a very thin white head. Old malt and a touch of grain. Medium bodied, grain and not a lot else. Soft bitterness into the finish. Drinkable, but not a lot going on. cbfobes (2885) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Poured from can, pours a dark reddish copper with a thin head, the aroma has a nice amount of caramel and malt with a hint of fruit, the flavor is sweet on the front end with some fruit notes and a finish of caramel and malt, nice mouthfeel, decent. marcus (10466) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 4, 2012

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2012 Tried again in a can, it was better than tap. A smoother brew with more toffee sweetness and still that sweet peanut finish. Tap at The Library DM. Rich copper body with a thin light off white head. Nose of toffe and black tea. There is also some toast and peanuts. This is roasted in the finish with some cola sweetness. Decent. burg326 (5562) - Florida, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Poured froam a 16 ounce can a light caramel color with a fair amount of carboation. Aroma of caramel, sweet grains, and a touch of yeast. Flavor is much the same, widue to the moderate carbonation it was a crisp to the palate. portableparty (2366) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Can to mug (thanks DalzAle). Pours clear copper with a foamy off white head that settles to a film. Aroma is spice and malt and pepper. Taste is caramel and malty with clean spices and not overpowering. Palate is medium and chaulky with a dry finish. Decent! DalzAle (2038) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - SEP 29, 2011
Can. Clear copper pour, little carbonation and a slightly sweet and malty aroma. Flavor is also a good malt base, rich and nutty and finished crisp with a little subtle hops. Nice enjoyable Marzen! igneous1 (1537) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - SEP 18, 2011
deep orange/copper color, clear, moderate carbonation with a thin white head. light bready malts in the aroma. flavor profile has bread and toast in the finish. there are very light notes of caramel in the flavor as well. very light-bodied, but not bad. Stopped by the brewery yesterday hoping that they had it on tap, but alas, only in the can...which I can get at the grocery store for a lot less.
