At the source: basically a hoppy and bitter DIPA with some sweetness, but not too much. No alcohol burn. Ok. mstrcrwly (1000) - New York, USA - MAY 26, 2014
On tap, poured into a tulip..cooper orange pour with 2 finger head..aroma of hops, citrus, pine..tastes like it smells but a little underwhelming. drsandman (1590) - New York, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Pours a deep amber with light tan head. Aroma is resiny hop, caramel malt, booze, pine... taste is more of the same, pretty big IIPA but not overly boozy, slightly sweet but packed with bitter hops. Med mouthfeel, avg carbo. Not bad. trapped (3503) - New York, TURKEY - MAY 6, 2014
Drought. Dark amber with creamy tan head, floral aroma, slightly sweet hoppy taste with hint of cloves, low carbonation, long finish, bitter aftertaste. Very nice with sharp hops aroma. luvmyhops (26) - Amity Harbor, New York, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Great IIPA, if you can find it, get it! Take the oath. Lots of hops but nicely balanced with a malt backbone.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2013 Nice aroma of caramel, citrus, pine. The appearance is a VERY dark amber color (unusual for the style), off-white head. The flavor is just like the aroma. Medium to medium/thick in body. The finish is pine, citrus. Very nice IIPA. Good to see this from a local brewery. BrooHa (121) - New York, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Growler fill from Bellport Dave. Pours dark copper and very clear. Pillowy, cream-colored head. Nice-lookin’. Malty nose and a more resinous hop smell rather than bright, citrus-style notes. Weighty mouthfeel and good balance between malt and hops. Slightly bitter finish (good). Pretty good and is a great "cold weather IPA". Extra point in Overall for homerism. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Growler filled at Bellport Cold Beer & Soda. Pours a mostly clear amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Very pleasant aroma that is predominantly resinous pine. The flavor begins with malt up front followed by a solid dose of resinous pine leading to a strongly bitter finish. Despite its strength, the bitterness does not extend much beyond the swallow. Alcohol is well hidden. Very solid DIPA. j12601 (13036) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 6, 2011
Pouring at TAP NY. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white to beige head. Very soft toast, big and bright, with loads of piney citrus. Big and pungent, grapefruit and candied citrus. Lots of dank grapefruit pith, candy. Smooth and hoppy, long grapefruit finish. Another excellent beer from these guys. Very impressive new brewery.
