From some bodega in Brooklyn: pours brown with an off white head. Aroma is rye and malt with some light hints of hops. Taste is much the same. Very simple but drinkable. Not bad. unclemike (3217) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - MAR 27, 2015
Bottle: Pours a dark red /brown color with small off white head. Aroma of slight fruit and malt and alittle toastiness. Very malty flavors with lots of carmel and nice toasty flavors, yeasty beilgian esters and werid sort of acidity and sharpness that is out of place. a little thin too.

Thin. Sweet. Boring, somehow. Nothing bad but doesn’t have any stand out characteristics. Better than standard stuff but less impressive than fancy stuff. jtclockwork (17914) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 6, 2014
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2014 Bottle. Pours reddish white head. Nose and taste of molasses, dark caramel, rye, dark bread and candy resin. Medium body. nimbleprop (9059) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 21, 2014
4oz pour then a 32oz growler from the brewery. Pours a clear brown with some sudsy white head. Nose is an interesting mix, malt is the dominant force with some bread crust, a little cracker, some sweet oats, a hint of spice, some orange, a little fall fruit. Not too much juniper, but I’m not complaining. Flavor has some bread crust, a bit of brown sugar, a little earthy, some caramelized root veg, a bit of spice, the juniper comes through a bit more. Sticky finish.
