COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This IPA uses an ample amount of Rye as well as Horizon and Centennial hops. Definately hoppy, at 90 IBU, but still very balanced with a strong malt backbone and the aforementioned rye. A subtle hint of apple and dry grassiness from the rye and a spicy floral note from the hops are present. O.G. 12P, 90 IBU’S, 5.3% ABV

Golden with a loose head. Lovely, lilting hops in the nose--almost New Zealand hops?--but the flavor is spicier with a dry, grassy hop profile (just as their commercial description promises). Strongly bitter. Decent. (on tap at brewpub)

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Tap at the brewpub. Clear orange pour with a white clingy head. Rye and grass on the nose. Moderate but slick palate. Taste is rye and herbal hops. Pretty good.

Draft at the brewpub. A dry, bitter, herbal ipa. Very minimal malt presence, with some cracker quality. This is not balanced, and that is ok, but focused on the hops. They make this very dry, with grass and vegetation, and some flowers in the finish.
