I think of a pale lager when I drink this...not pale ale, so I will rate it as such. Faint aroma of grains...sweet toasty grains up front with a mild bitter finish. Pretty good.
Sampled in Regina on tour with the band. Golden colour, white head, average retention and minimal lacing. Malty nose, malty taste from the 2-row barley. A little sweetness lingers. Refreshing cold, easy-drinking but nothing overly exceptional. adamnowek (2627) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 13, 2016
This definitely is not an APA. Corny aroma. Taste is somewhat sweet and a bit spicy at the end. Incredibly prickly carbonation. sawyerpc15 (113) - Bowser, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 23, 2016
I have trouble differentiating between the Canadian lager beers. This was very refreshing after a golf game but same as others. cmacklin (1125) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 30, 2015
Draught. Pours a clear gold with a small, short lived, white head that left spotty lacing. Mild aroma of corn and a hint of grass. Sweet flavour of corn and light malt with a mildly bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Boring. More closely resembles a pale lager than an APA. BreWedge (531) - goose bay, Newfoundland, CANADA - JUN 25, 2015
On tap @ Tony Roma's West Edmonton Mall. Pours a clear light gold with a small white head. Aromas are very subtle. Maybe a little funk but hard to discern. Tastes are light grainy malts and a little tin. Very light body, medium carbonation, little aftertaste. Not offensive but also not interesting.

Big Rock Grasshopper-esque. Nice and grassy and refreshing. Summery beer, but summer isn’t long in Canada dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - APR 6, 2015
Had this for free at an event. Was a decent value. Clear golden, very light caramel malt aroma. Flavour is light and inoffensive, but ultimately pointless. BeerAndPonies (171) - Medicine Hat, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 12, 2015
355 ml can from a split twelve-pack (with their Copper Ale) from Sobeys Liquor, served in an MLP Rainbow Dash pint glass. Pours a bright golden straw hue, moderately carbonated, with a fine white head that lingers a few moments, then recedes to leave one lone lace ring. Aroma is sweet grains and faint hints of sour corn and green apple; flavor is moderately sweet cereals with a vague whiff of grassy hops and a dusty staleness.. Thin-bodied, with a generally clean finish, although the corn hangs in there briefly. Very reminiscent of Alexander Keith’s - it’s just a rather ordinary lager that calls itself a pale ale, although Original 16’s seems a little more ale-like. There are plenty of pale and light beers that can take its place with ease. A mundane, slightly unappealing brew. markas101 (2434) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - SEP 21, 2014
33 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada. Very pale yellow, no head. Slight citrus pepper aroma though very faint. Tastes of corn. Not offensive but not great. lbcgreg (67) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 26, 2014
Very light, typical lager. Best drank really cold. Crisp finish with a very light hop flavour.
