SamTheBarrel (804) - Vallentuna, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2014
500ml brown bottle, with a plain looking black label with red lettering, poured into a footed Pilsner glass. Appearance is clear pale golden with a medium sized white head that reduced quickly. Aroma of grains, corn and wheat bread. Flavours of wheat bread, cereal and butterscotch. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, slightly buttery texture and soft carbonation. Overall a quite standard but decent Pilsener, with a slightly buttery character.

Lilja (3171) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 11, 2014
Smak och doft av humle, malt, sädesslag och bröd. Liten kropp, lagom sötma med lagom beska. Dock obalanserad.

gyllenbock (9177) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 14, 2014
Bottle from Systembolaget Johanneshov. Clear golden with a large, fluffy white head. Aroma of grain, bread and grass. Similar taste. Also some citrus and some butter. The finish was dry and a bit bitter.
Earlier Rating: 10/15/2009 Total Score: 2.9
Bottle. Bread, hay, some caramel in the flavor. Not much of bitterness. Certainly not brilliant but definitely drinkable.

PalCabral (162) - SWEDEN - JUN 13, 2014
50cl bottle from Systembolaget. Pours clear pale golden with a huge frothy head that settles at 1cm above the beer. Looks awesome. The taste is malty and grainy. A german beer aroma for sure - delicious. Taste goes along the the malty grainy taste. Not much hops in this beer until the aftertaste, when some bitterness linger, not entirely pleasantly, in the back of the tounge. The palate pulls down the review, as the beer feels a bit off, low carboanted, and thus feel a bit fat. It’s a good beer, very german and continental feel, but could really help with some liveliness. Maybe a tad more hops in mouth and some more carbonation?

omhper (25153) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 11, 2014
Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear golden, rich head. Grassy nose with notes of perfume, grains and boiled vegetables. Mid dry with medium body and firm, rounded mouthfeel. Grains and grass, notes of butter. Some spicy bitterness.
Earlier Rating: 9/28/2007 Total Score: 2.9
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden, rich airy head. Papery malt aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. A light touch of grass. Low-medium bitterness. Perhaps not a beer that a beer geek at a beer festival jumps at, but a well made lager without the slightest off-flavour.

Franzen (594) - SWEDEN - MAY 31, 2014
Sweet malt aroma, DMS, and canned corn in the aroma. Golden clear with white head. Bready sweet taste with good balancing bitterness. Light body, foamy texture, average carbonation, dry. Nice lager but too much DMS in aroma
