Bright copper colour with creamy off-white head. Clean, malty aroma with notes of (twist of sour)dough, nuts and faint hops. Elegant malty flavour profile with freshly baked malts, little grassy hops, traces of chocolate and a perfect, gentle bitterness. Suggestions of spices, whatever they are. Smooth mouthfeel, almost oily/jellyish. Great Bock!

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2008 (Bottle) Pours copper-ish amber with a creamy off-white head. The aroma is malty up front with tones of, toast, bread, hay, roasted nuts, toffee and some caramel. The hop profile brings tones of grass and subtle herbs. The flavour is of bread, toast, mild caramel, nuts, hay, smooth milk chocolate fudge, grass, light herbs and light undertones of bread syrup. The mouthfeel is clean, soft, smooth, bit velvety, medium chewy and nothing less than perfect. Soft carbonation with small bubbles. The aftertaste is subtle and soft/velvety with hints of fudge/caramel, nuts and a tiny touch of hops. Medium bodied. A fantastic Bock, good job Grebbestad.

Bottle. The liquid is orange and looks thicker than it really is. Nice long lasting little white head. Clean malty aroma, sweet and bready. The taste is also based on a clean malt profile. Notes of honey and rotten vegtables. Small smokiness in the aftertaste. Well balanced. Smooth. A classic example of a bock beer. Linnet (1832) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2008
Aroma of both malt and barley flavour is warming and a bit metallic. A well balanced bock.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2008 08/05/02: 33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. I had bigger expectations for this bock, but it’s okay. Sweet, malty beer with a pretty nice mouth feel, but it had some strange vegatable taste which reminds me of Slottskällans Decennium. (3)
08/05/14: Ah, well, I decided to buy it again, cause it’s only 15 SEK for a 33 cl bottle. Well, it was slightly better this time, even though it’s nothing special. Taste is malty with hints of caramel and some hops at the end. Easy to drink, goes down very fast. Maybe I will buy it again due to the price, but on the other hand there is so much other interesting beers. (3,2)
08/06/06: Had it again, and this time I liked it even more! Good bock, very plesant too drink. Looking forward to taste Lunator in september!
