COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
3 Bolt Pale Ale is a gold to copper coloured all malt ‘Pale Ale’ of distinct flavour and bouquet. Using premium Australian Ale malt as a base, 3 Bolt Pale is a genuine craft beer. Classic old world bittering hops impart a spice-defined tongue with floral characters, whilst the late kettle, new world aroma hops result in a pleasant citrus and pine needle nose that segues into stonefruit. A clean finish consistent with its top fermenting yeast culture, 3 Bolt Pale is a flavoursome craft ale, best drunk young and preferably in the presence of the brewer!

Nicely defies 'simple but effective'. Light build, has an English feel to it, tangy hops, super easy going but not without cred. Seems over the odds at $6,

Golden, slightly hazy pour with a decent white head. Big passionfruit aroma, grapefruit and pine. Taste is passionfruit, citrus, pine, a little peach, flavours are there but it's a little thin

Tap at the Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, grassy hop, mineral, light citrus. The flavour is light sweet light bitter with a light watery, grainy, light fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Light and watery all round. Served cool and kinda hit the mark in terms of refreshment on a warm day, but has no backbone.

Grassy floral aroma in a golden pour. Laid back hop forward balance with a hint of fruit in the body and a watery finish.

375ml can into pint glass. Excellent citric nose with a touch of peppery hops. Hazy amber beer with billowy white head. Spritzy mouthfeel, real zingy. Good earthy, fruity finish. Real easy-drinking ale with a nice lingering touch of lemons.

375ml can, pours slight hazy amber with nice small fluffy white head. Aromas of pine, passionfruit, mango, grapefruit, light caramel. The taste has a nice light toasty malt character, with all the aforementioned tropical fruit notes. Light bodied and nice dry finish. Good flavourful and enjoyable pale ale.

On tap at Green Beacon, pours a clear yellow blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp biscuity malt and light piney hopping. Flavour is along the same lines, with light dry piney hops and biscuity malt. Nicely balanced, with a clean, dry finish. Decent pale.

Can Fruity and floral with some citrus and caramel malt sweetness. Quite flavoursome considering ABV, nice pleasant bitterness, palate and finish. Great beers from this crew.
