Pours black with a large tan head.
Nose shows slight roast along with an unmistakable tang and some spice that I can’t pick. Interesting.
Same story with the flavours: wierd spices and some roasty malt along with the same tang again.

The aroma on this was really special. Smelled like tart fruits and really confused me into thunking I was about to drink a lambic or sour brew. Poured dark and allostnlooked porter like. The taste aroma were so different it was so cool. Taste was yeast and dry hops. Dark fruit and balancing malts. A strange yet fantastic beer.

The one thing that stood out from the start about this lack beer was its healthy, billowy medium brown head. There were dark caverns inside the head... It was awesome. It settled to a light brown head with tons of patchy lacing that had dark brown edges. Wild.
The aroma is very interestingly spiced. Something about it reminds me of Febreeze or a dentist’s office. I know no other way to describe it. In the mouth it’s, well, odd! It tastes very much of perfume and almost as if perfume/cologne or even Windex had accidentally gotten sprayed on my tongue. Still, interestingly, it doesn’t taste too bad. After a while, the perfume-like flavor starts to taste very herbal and plant-like. It’s so strong and potent with this spice that it makes me make faces long after its been swallowed. If you pay enough attention you may be able to pull out woody, fruity notes. Quite a crazy beer... And to be honest, I think I liked St Feuillien’s bottling better.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Black point with a large, bubbly foamy light tab head. Nose has loads of spice, nutmeg, tart and funk. Noticeable cinnamon. Taste is a muddle of spice with heavy tart, smoke and funk. Easy going stuff. Nice

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle. Pours opaque black with a lovely, staying, large, creamy, beige head. Aroma has chocolate, vanilla, coriander, light anise, bog myrtle, cocoa, rosehip. Medium to high carbonation, fine dry and light mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, spicy chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, coriander, cardemum, nuts. Soft black pepper finish. On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a black color, very little light through it if any. Interesting aroma. I can smell the farmyard saison, but the dark malt moves it in another direction. Some like a farmyard chocolate smell. Hmm...the taste is unique: some saison aspects with bread and a coffee type aftertaste. Not sure what to think about this one.
