liquidhedonism (289) - Beaverton, Oregon, USA - DEC 5, 2014
On tap at ABV in Hillsboro, OR. Aroma: piney and malty, with hints of resin, grapefruit, and strawberry. Taste/Palate: crisp; starts sweet, and finishes ridiculously bitter.

Poured from the tap at ABV in Hillsboro. Has a nice IPA aroma to it. Definitely has a sweet start, but the finish is like a 2x4. Definitely packs a punch.

Keg at Hamilton’s Tavern, SD, 12/11/14. Golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is juicy citric peel, light pine, bitter orange, grapefruit. Taste comprises pine, orange pith, grapefruit, straw. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent IPA.

On tap at 28 Springs thanks to Casey. Pours a golden amber with two fingers of head. Lots of pine and citrus. Flavor follows with a good bit of malt also. Somewhat bitter but not overbearing. Medium bodied. Very nice ipa.

Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - JUL 13, 2014
Draft at Anthony's. Deep caramel with a white head. Strong, piney hops and citrus sweetness to cut it.

bytemesis (9207) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 18, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2014 Tap. Pours hazy butterscotch amber, small creamy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is light citrus, pine. Flavor same, a bit dank some caramel, light sweet, medium bitter, harsh and a bit aged. Medium body, bit watery. Not much going on here.

3.8
Zymurgeist2 (2364) - Redwood City, California, USA - FEB 14, 2014
Overt citrus and orange. Pours a hazy burnt orange with full white head and lacing. Taste is full citrus with moderate cracker malt. Moderate bitterness is well blended.

3.4
phaleslu (10652) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Draft in a sampler at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a pale, clear yellow-gold with a small bubbly white head. Very, very light in aroma and flavor, which is fine, but it’s also a little bit off for what I’d expect from a Green Flash IPA. There’s a distinct soapiness that messes up an otherwise clean, lemony, floral beer. Very light maltiness. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a dry, soapy mouthfeel. A bit disappointing.

bth122 (1641) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Draft at Rivertowne in Pittsburgh. Light caramel color. Great citrus hop aroma and taste. Good texture. Foamy head. Light pine notes and caramel. Great ipa!

3.9
beer-yum (1890) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 8, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2014 Delicious drop sampled from tap at Hashigo Zake. Initial taste is full and in balance - followed by a pleasantly long bitter finish.
