Hazy gold beer, good white head. Palate is light, crisp and semi dry. Mild minerals. Light dry pale malts. Hops are pretty mild, traces of orange and skunk. Light finish. Mild bitter linger. Drinkable but was expecting a lot more hop intensity. Disappointing.
Tap at Blind Tiger. Certainly the hoppiest Pale Ale I’ve ever had. Pours orange-copper with a medium, pure white head. Lovely, citrus hop aroma with some light caramel. Beautifully balanced flavor. Sweet up front followed by a restrained though satisfying bitterness. Medium in body and well carbonated. Really, really good. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 5, 2014
Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Amber color, clear, with medium sized head. Aroma of biscuity malts and piney hops, mild. Off-dry mouthfeel, light, easily drinkable, with lean malt and caramel flavor, strong bitterness, a bit citrusy, but mostly resiny final.
Surgically clean IPA.
