Hop-forward and San Diego inspired, this is our brewers’ homage to their local craft beer corridor. Uniquely floral and fruity notes from Warrior, Cascade and El Dorado hops mingle with a hint of crystal malt to build flavors of melon and a lingering grassy bitterness. Well-bittered and dry-hopped, 30th Street is a Pale Ale bold enough to suit the palates of hop heads in the land of sunshine and IPA.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a head of foamy finely sized dark white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated body hazy dark orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mild citrus mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of citrus crisp hops and rye. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Bottled (backlog). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some zesty, mild bready and cookie like malty notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some bready and biscuity crispiness with zest, floral and some sweetish wooden and resiny notes. Nice bitterness, that stays for a while in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Clink, Birmingham. A hoppy beer, which is bold, fruity, fizzy, clean. Not sure whether it’s the hop or malt variety, but either way this has a rich caramel tang which is delicious. Stunning beer.

Draft 0.15l at Beer Temple Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 17.07.2016. Last farewell tasting for cika Jan. Taste with Zlotta and Potjebier. Pour it hazy orange color with small white head. Aroma aggressive candy sugar, tangerine. Taste orange, tangerine, herbalish, little bit harsh zesty feel, not so compact for my opinion, medium body, slick feel, lively, abrupt finish.

Visual: Pours barely translucent orange with a smallish head, a superfine layer of micro retention, suspended sediment, clustered steady streams alongside tight singulars.

Nose: citrusy floral hops, malty backbone. (lvl-6)-pungency

Attack: creamy-fine entry, very crisp bite

Mid-palate: more fluffy creaminess, very bright tangerine-metallic hop oils, (lvl-3-sweetness), toffee toasty barley malt

Finish: LONG length dry soft bitter resiny hops, dry grassy finish.

Summary: Supremely clean hop oils and an amazing creaminess to go along with it. A bright showcase of the hops - thumbs up for the consistent quality of Green Flash brews.
