On tap at Apex, pours a cloudy reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma of rye malts, roasted rye bread, dry fruity caramel malt and some dishwashing detergent. Flavour is very dry, full of crusty bread rye bread, dry fruity malt and a bit of candied sugar. Overall, a very dry palate full of crusty bread and rye. A hazed amber pour with an off-white head. Very floral hop profile, lots of rye, and toasted bread. A bit of grass, notes of pine, and a lot of yeast. The flavor is very heavy on the toasted notes. "The Belgian yeast kinda overrides the rye here, which is why I chose belgian ale and not rye beer. Either way...a little confused, with muddled aroma and flavors.
