Reddish golden with a fizzy white head. Very pleasant floral and passion fruit aroma and taste with some good sweet citrus flavors. iowaherkeye (2804) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Tap at Hamilton’s. Clear medium auburn with a small off - white head, down to a film within a few mins. Lots of fruity belgian yeast and banana in the nose, though not too sweet, just a little rye and toasted malt behind. Flavor is a little toastier, still plenty yeasty, clean ripe banana. Never sweet, dry finish, little rye. Bitterness at a 3. Soft light to moderate carbonation with a medium body. Quite tasty. Good job at a Belgian style. gracefullypunk (667) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 7, 2010
On tap at Brouwer’s. Pours orange-red with a foamy beige head that leaves plenty of lace. Aromas of vinegar, candy sugar and apple. Taste is both bitter and bubble gum along with grassy hop. Interesting. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 3, 2010

Draft at GF 7th anny festival. Dark orange to amber hue with mostly dissipating head. Nose is complex; Belgian yeast and Candi with rye bread, caramel, and light fruits. Flavor is fruity syrup and Belgian yeast up front, transitions to rye bread and bitter grassy and citrus hop flavors, caramel malt backbone, finishes on the dry and bitter side. Medium body, high and biting carbonation, smooth texture. Complex, flavorful, and easy drinking Belgian hybrid, plenty of depth without being overwhelming, great anniversary ale! nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - NOV 29, 2009
On draft at the brewery. amber color with a thin off white head. Citrus, belgian yeast on the nose. Medium bodied. Solid hoppy bitter backbone with some flavor of sweet malt, rye, caramel. Fairly dry on the finish. Good beer. Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 26, 2009
On tap at Stone. Hazy amber with a light head. Long lasting lace. Nose is sweet malt, yeasty and hoppy. Taste has a hidden Belgian style sweetness way at the end, that wasn’t obvious at first. Nice bitterness throughout. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - FEB 25, 2010
