Semi clear dark nutty amber with a lovely bourbon-full nose of brown sugar and dark oaked vanilla, with some dark dates and cherry and caramel awesomeness. Immaculate. Flavor is equally so. Lots of cherry and caramel and vanilla and brown sugar and sweetness. Awesome levels of sweet bourbony booze and oak, with a wonderful stone fruit and sweet deep maltiness. And pecan. Just perfect.

On tap at Rattle n Hum. Getting some last ticks in before the new year, nearing 1200 for 2010. This beer pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small yellowish head and some floaties in there. Big sweet malt aroma of caramel and toffee, bourbon, oak, and fruity notes. The flavor is rather nice. A caramel and toffee with Graham cracker base, bourbon, oak, fig, and mild sherry oxidation. Rather full bodied with lower carbonation and some considerable booziness. A damn enjoyable beer though, if a bit intense.
