Mild oatmeal and apricot nose. Hazy amber, medium head. Apricot, lemongrass, slightly vegetal. Medium body , easy carbonation. drjay44 (3857) - Salida, Colorado, USA - AUG 12, 2017
Draft. Pours a medium, ivory, slowly collapsing head, with slight lacing, over a hazy amber (SRM 9) body......nose is multiple fruits including mango, passion fruit, mild malts....taste is sweet, with moderate honey tones, tropical fruits including mango, pineapple, light citrus tones, becoming dry with slight spice tones and mild bitter finish....mouth feel, medium sticky body, alcohol warmth present, low carbonation. This beer is very fruit forward, minimal spice, relatively hop bitter. It misses the stated style and could use more attenuation and hop presence. It spite of this it is an enjoyable beer. Smells of hop perfume if that makes any sense. Fruitiness here is of the dark pitted kind. The sweet notes I get are chocolate like.
Fruity and chocolate taste, yeasty, I like the hop variety used but to me, the beer lacks vibrancy. Muted, if you will. Not bad but not worth $15.
Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a golden yellow color. Aroma is that unmistakable funky tripel/belgo character. Mellow, light straw flavor, light dusty yeast notes and a touch of sweet grains in this one. Pretty refreshing. solidfunk (9444) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 2, 2017

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy orange tinged gold with a whitish head. Aroma is Belgian yeast/banana/spice. Tripel! Full bodied. Flavor is clove, banana, yeast. And a malt background. If you’re into clove/banana/yeast (which I am), this has to be a great choice.
