Served into a snifter with a dark color and a nice darker tan head that isn’t to heavy and doesn’t last very long. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, fruit, maybe some chocolate. Tastes initially of better coffee and roasted malt but has a nice finish maybe a little harsh on the back-end with some coffee and chocolate. I initially thought it was light in body but as the drink went on it was medium/medium-heavy in body and not overcarbonated. Overall a decent stout that I would drink again.

Cafè i més tard toffee. Molt equilibrada i fàcil de beure. Agradarà a tothom. Relativament llarga. Molt recomenable. Itzjerm (2960) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - JUN 7, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2012 I would call this an average dark stout.... its like a rushian imperial in flavor. wyet light on the hops. Not bad... but slightly mild in flavor it has an average mouth feel. on the heavy side for most beers good for a double stout. dextermorgan (97) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 7, 2012
Creamy, well balanced stout that masks the alcohol well and has hints of chocolate that don’t make the beer taste too sugary. Tap in Pittsburgh, PA. bozoNZ (778) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 6, 2012
Lovely rich big choc/charflavours with a balance malt sharpness and hop bitterness. very drinkable - UCSC Tasting June 12

Pours pitch black with a brown head and chocolate aroma. Taste is sweet and heavy on chocolate and roasted malt, with a warming alcohol taste and a toasty, chocolaty finish. jjgmd (2181) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JUN 4, 2012
Pours a deep black color with a nice tan, mocha head, Nose is all chocolate with some espresso. Taste is full of flavor, initially coffee and chocolate, followed by some bitterness. Heavy bodied, finish is slightly sweet, complex
and lasting.......with nice lacing. Nice sipping foreign stout. Quaff Score 7 / 10 Scopey (15010) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2012
Bottle from BrewDog online store. It pours jet black, with a decent tan head. The nose is roasted malt, dark chocolate, a touch of soy sauce, smoke and earth. The taste is roasted malt, charcoal, ash, bitter chocolate, dark fruit, earth and some bitterness, with a dry-roasted finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Robust, full-flavour and fairly true to style. A great double/export stout. jeric2003 (1) - - JUN 2, 2012 does not count
This stout seems pretty standard (nothing extraordinarily remarkable), but the bitter aftertaste kind of ruins it for me. hivemind (916) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Tap @ Pony w Streets. Fuck you James. Pours black with slightly red hue and tan to brown head. Aroma heavy on coffee and nuts (hazelnut, walnut). Tempted to believe this is the double coffee stout but I’m going by what the menu says here. Medium mouthfeel and flavors of nuts, coffee, touch of dark, bitter chocolate. Roasty. Kind of tastes like a brown ale. Good.
