COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Golden naked oats mashed with dark crystal and robust roasted malts create a luscious black brew with a satin smooth finish. Layering UK Target hops in the boil adds a pleasant, earthy complexity while higher fermentation temperatures enhance the overall flavor with fruity esters. An old-world style, done the Green Flash way. Big, bold, flavorful and complex – Double Stout.

Pour is a black with a nice creamy tan head. Aroma is a very nice roasted malt with some coffee. Flavor is more of the coffee with some, anise and dark chocolate. Finish leaves a nice roasted malt on the tounge as this goes down. Very flavorful and rich.

Bottle pours black with a thin brown head. I had this before in the bomber, but first time in the small bottle. Aromas are roasted malt and carmel with some dough. Taste is coffee, roasted malt and hints of chocolate, but ever so faint. Very earthy with great full body and some lacing. Overall, a very, very good stout. Would be happy to drink anytime.

Aroma is chocolate with roasted nuts and light coffee and subtle fruitiness. Appearance is pitch black with a large foam top. Massive chocolate flavor with mixtures of caramel malts, roasted coffee and light hops. Big thick texture with a crisp, creamy aftertaste. Overall, this is a massive brew with mixtures of malts, hops, coffee, caramel, and a large amount of chocolate.I’d give this a C+ rating.

Four pack. This is the sort of Imperial stout I like. Not syrupy or boozy, but rich and chocolatey with a long aftertaste. More dark chocolate than milk, and with good depth of flavor. No West Coast hops here.

An amazing Stout from a brewery I have never heard of. I’ll bet a trip to the brewery would be a great adventure. This Stout is strong, tasty, all around near perfect beer. So much flavor!

Bottle at Kuma’s. Pours deep black with a brown head. Nose is great, lots of cocoa notes, light molasses and a nice fruitiness to this one. Faint herbal and floral hops, fresh and clean roast. On tast, more of that nice chocolate profile, medium full body with a nice bitterness and balanced sweetness overall. Again, nice light fruity profile that really ties it together. One of the best stouts that I’ve had in a long time.

12 oz bottle, as pictured. Pours a dark black/brown with tan head. Smells and tastes very strongly of coffee. Good mouthfeel, not too over-carbonated, but just enough. Simple flavor, but tasty.

33cl bottle. Black beer with light beige head, creamy, good lacing and perfect lasting. Aroma is to toasted and roasted malts, notes of black coffee are also present. Flavour is roasted, wooden, with hard traces of black coffee. Dense on palate and with an average biterness. Carbonation is soft. Texture is oily. Body is full.

4.2

Bottle. Completely black, medium brown head that settles quickly, solid lacing. Aroma of coffee with chocolate melted into it, light spice. Taste is thick and chewy tobacco, dark cocoa, espresso left on the burner too long. Delicious.
