Cremig malziger Antrunk. Geringe Bananigkeit. Super! 7/12/12/11/10/12

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2013 In bottle, aged a little over a year. Pours black with thin tan head. Very roasty with a creamy finish. Also, well hopped for a big stout. Very good beer. FishBizkit (234) - Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 7, 2011
A big and very thick pour, obviously so from the opaque quality of the body and the lasting creamy head. A nice roasty aroma greets you, with some chocolate smoothness detectable. Taste is heavy on the espresso characteristics, with a bit of a lactic quality emerging in the finish, along with smooth milk chocolate, and a subtle sweet berry character. A very nice stout from this fine brewery. kra303 (8) - Carbondale, Colorado, USA - NOV 6, 2011 does not count
Pours like black gold; creamy tawny head, with long lacing; intense nose of chocolate malt, roasted, toasted stout character; silky, mouthfilling, yet balanced with just the right carbonation/acidity; wow, pour me another! coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - NOV 5, 2011
Bottle. Pours nearly black with a big tan head. Beautiful beer. Aroma is all chocolate and coffee. Flavor is creamy milk chocolate, some coffee, macadamia nuts, lots of roast malt, some nice earthiness, a hint of hops. Creamy mouthfeel.

Black with a really thick and dark brown head. Aroma is of creamy chocolate almost like chocolate milk. Taste is chocolate in the front with the feel of it being creamy. The finish is some bitter, burnt flavors that mix well with the chocolate flavors in the taste. Nice. BREWMUSKCLES (2719) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 3, 2011
velvety smoothness you can see in the pour. sweetness and body like chocolate but not quite there. malt flavor, the beer turns a bit like a full red wine after some time. dark brown head and murky bubbly carbonation stays long like the afore mentioned. a bit of spice and an noticeable lingering bit of ash in the finish. fully satisfying. Indra (2711) - Suburbia, Kansas, USA - NOV 2, 2011
12oz. bottle. Rich, enticing aroma of fine dark chocolate, deeply roasted malts, toffee, very faint dried fruit and nut, some light espresso in the background. Thick-looking black color with a lasting, fine, dark tan head. Flavor profile is huge, roasty and full of satisfying dark chocolate as well, with suggestions of coffee, cream, plum and raisin, finishing bittersweet, with lingering char and cocoa. Hefty, smooth, coating mouthfeel, body is just massive. This is fantastic, really nice complexity here. I’m pretty happy that I can buy this at just about any beer place I shop around here now. A Stout lover’s dream. thomat (3984) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 31, 2011
Dark brown with a small brown head. Malty with fruity notes. Malt, fruit, coffee and roasted. Full body with a long, balanced finish. JoePeesie (925) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Pours a thin black with a finger of brown head that clings nicely to the glass. Nose and taste are of dark chocolate, a trace of coffee perhaps, roasted malts, and mellow hops. This is a nicely balanced easy drinking beer. Quite enjoyable at 8.8%. I love big stouts but on a cool fall evening, kicking back with the wife and kid this beer is big enough to warm small enough to drink alone. Overall I would have to say this beer fit my mood and tastes tonight perfectly.
