12oz bottle. Pitch black color, one-finger brown head fading to just a splotch of webbiness floating on the completely opaque surface. Some sparase lace. Really nice roasty dark bitter aroma. Not too much chocolate, not too much coffee. Just pure double-stout roastiness. Good, thick, big creamy mouthfeel. Mild and quick carbonation. Nicely done imperial stout, very satisfying. pineypower (3325) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - OCT 16, 2011

Bottle bought at Bierkraft, Brooklyn, NY. A black coloured pour with a small beige head on top. Roasty, malty aroma. Tastes roasty, malty, hoppy, chocolate, slight bitterness. Complex tasting solid stout from Green Flash. Beer_snob (6) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 13, 2011 does not count
Bought at Trader Joe’s in Grossmont. Drank in a frozen glass mug.
Appearance: Extremely dark with a thick pillowy head. Plenty or rings on the glass as it was consumed.
Aroma-Coffee and hops, the way a stout should smell.
Taste: Coffee, vanilla, and chocolate mixed with piney hops.
Palate: Very pleasant. This beer tastes great and does not overwhelm your taste buds. Many people mistakenly think that dark beers are overwhelming, but that is simple not true. I’ve had IPA’s and Strong Ales that are stronger than this.
Overall: A great showing from Green Flash. I will definitely pick some more of this up.
