12oz bottle from somewhat out west....pours a clear light yellow brown with a small soapy white head....aroma of light grassy hops and very little of anything else.... flavors of sweet malt and light grassy hops. a touch of bitterness in the finish. not all that complex. medium carbonation. not too impressive. Picked one up in a mix a 6 rack. Light golden color with white head. Light malt taste. Left a nice lace on the glass. That’s all. BrotherGrendel (787) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 8, 2009
A- Pours a cloudy dark straw hue, head is 1finger of white froth and tight tiny bubbles, fair lacing
S- Nose is mostly pale malts, crisp and clean, some bread and light toast, hints of pine and citrus hops, grass and earth
T- Very well-balanced, the pale and bread malts come through initially, followed by light hops, and a dry bitter finish
M- Light-bodied, watery to oily texture, excitable carbonation
D- Great session beer and a great pale ale, the crisp freshness is reminiscent of a lager, but the malts and hops add significant flavor and complexity, check this out for a smooth and refreshing ale joshwilfong (1200) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - JAN 4, 2009
yellowish brown with mild head. flavor without much malt component. the hop aspect is mostly dominated with bitterness and some flavor. overall not an extrememly flavorful brew and the hop choice doesn’t really suit the english style Avengedpoet (329) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2008
Sampled at Bevmo. Pours very clear and light straw-colored. Decent pillowy white head. Minor aroma of American hops. Taste is pretty boring. Easy to drink, but extremely boring. I can see why this is getting discontinued.

Throw back type beer. Reminds me of the beers my dad drank in the taverns in and around Philly. Nice easy drinking beer. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - OCT 10, 2008
Bottle from oak tree. Pours an orange yellow body with a white quickly diminishing head. Burnt malt in the aroma and some hop stuborness. Very malty with a hint of light citrus. Simple beer. chrisafari (100) - Orange, California, USA - SEP 21, 2008
On Cask at Stone Brewing Co. World Bistro and Gardens. Aroma is hops and pine. Pours pale yellow/orange with nice rocky head, pretty clear for cask. Flavor begins sweet and mellow with a hint of grapefruit. Finishes with a great hoppiness, with an emphasis on pine and again subtle grapefruit. Medium body with great lacing down the glass (cask adds to the nice body). Really enjoyable on cask, very drinkable. But, I’m not sure I would have enjoyed it as much on tap or bottled. Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of peaches as well as other fruits, and hints of hops. The flavor is sweetmalty with strong notes of peaches and hints of hops. Thanks Alex (fiulijn) for sharing. kwoeltje (2234) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - SEP 11, 2008
(bottle) amber orange with small white head. Abundant pine hops aroma. Flavor is strong pine hops with decent malt for balance.
