Draft. Amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Malt and caramel aroma with toasted malt and light pumpkin. Caramel and sweet malt flavor with pumpkin. Medium bodied. On tap at Stone. Clear dark orange pour, white head. Lots of pumpkin in this, malt, light bread, the fire roasted actually comes through nicely, the spice is light, and not very sweet for a pumpkin beer. 10 ounce sample on tap at the Public House in SF for SFBeerWeek. Aroma has nutmeg, pumpkin spices, and large amounts of vomit. Some herbal hints, too. Just not a very pleasant nose. Just can’t shake the vomit smell. Scantly hazy amber body with a smallish, off-white head and decent lacing. Starts spicy, herbal, with hints of nutmeg and some floral notes in the middle. Is there some rye in this? Finishes dry, herbal, and pretty bitter with nice hop kick. Pretty balanced for the style. Unfortunately, the aroma hurts this otherwise solid beer. Tap @ Hamilton’s. Pours a mostly clear orange amber with a small off white ring. Nose of lightly roasted malts, light spice. A very drinkable beer, finished my pint in a bout 10min.

Appearance: Pours copper with a thin white film atop.
Aroma: Pumpkin pulp and sweet malt.
Taste: Nutmeg, slightly sweet malt and hop spice.
Mouthfeel: Thin to medium. Decent carb.

Served on tap at the San Diego Brewers Guild Festival 2010.The appearance is an orange brown hue. The nose is light pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavors start at with a lot of cinnamon and nutmeg with a faint amount of pumpkin. There is this tea bag flavor that quickly builds and takes over. The mouth is a little sticky. A decent brew but a bit messy.
