Draft. Amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Malt and caramel aroma with toasted malt and light pumpkin. Caramel and sweet malt flavor with pumpkin. Medium bodied. Sweet caramel lingers with pumpkin and light spice. Nice pumpkin beer without overdoing all of the holiday spices. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 23, 2010
Draft. Pours an amber toned body with a mostly white head and a ring of lacing. Spicy with cinnamon, incense, squash, earth and light nutmeg. A soft spiced body with a thin finish. Okay. JohnnyJ (5571) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 10, 2010
On tap at Stone. Clear dark orange pour, white head. Lots of pumpkin in this, malt, light bread, the fire roasted actually comes through nicely, the spice is light, and not very sweet for a pumpkin beer. This is not a pumpkin pie beer, it is a roasted pumpkin beer. Different then the other sweet crowd and enjoyable. DYCSoccer17 (3714) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 20, 2011
10 ounce sample on tap at the Public House in SF for SFBeerWeek. Aroma has nutmeg, pumpkin spices, and large amounts of vomit. Some herbal hints, too. Just not a very pleasant nose. Just can’t shake the vomit smell. Scantly hazy amber body with a smallish, off-white head and decent lacing. Starts spicy, herbal, with hints of nutmeg and some floral notes in the middle. Is there some rye in this? Finishes dry, herbal, and pretty bitter with nice hop kick. Pretty balanced for the style. Unfortunately, the aroma hurts this otherwise solid beer. Tap @ Hamilton’s. Pours a mostly clear orange amber with a small off white ring. Nose of lightly roasted malts, light spice. A very drinkable beer, finished my pint in a bout 10min.

Draft @ linkery: pours bronze, solid head. Squashish nose...full bodied with a pumpkin flesh flavors, pretty clean and enjoyable actually with crisp hopping beneath. Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 28, 2011
On tap at Toronado, 4th March 2011. Rich red amber. Sweet and filling, lots of pumpkin and soft toffee malt notes. Nice dry finish with a persistent flavour. Sweet nose. Good stuff. beersearcher (2383) - Glendale, California, USA - NOV 24, 2010
Pours red/brown in color. A little bit of spice in the nose. Medium/low pumpkin flavor. Tastes real and not fake. Spice is in the flavor but not intrusive. Mellow but flavorful. Some hops poke through in the end too. LtDan (1808) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Appearance: Pours copper with a thin white film atop.
Aroma: Pumpkin pulp and sweet malt.
Taste: Nutmeg, slightly sweet malt and hop spice.
Mouthfeel: Thin to medium. Decent carb.
Overall: Average, solid. No strikes against it for a pumpkin beer. danielcurtis81 (1519) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Served on tap at the San Diego Brewers Guild Festival 2010.The appearance is an orange brown hue. The nose is light pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavors start at with a lot of cinnamon and nutmeg with a faint amount of pumpkin. There is this tea bag flavor that quickly builds and takes over. The mouth is a little sticky. A decent brew but a bit messy.
