On tap at Stone. Clear dark orange pour, white head. Lots of pumpkin in this, malt, light bread, the fire roasted actually comes through nicely, the spice is light, and not very sweet for a pumpkin beer. This is not a pumpkin pie beer, it is a roasted pumpkin beer. Different then the other sweet crowd and enjoyable. WisconsinBeer (716) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Tap at Hamilton’s 10-30-10. Pours a bright clear orange color with a thin white head. Flavor is malt forward, notes of toasted pumpkin seeds, roasted malt, and a little bit of spice. Finishes on a clean dry hop note, slightly peppery. Solid brew. Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 28, 2011
On tap at Toronado, 4th March 2011. Rich red amber. Sweet and filling, lots of pumpkin and soft toffee malt notes. Nice dry finish with a persistent flavour. Sweet nose. Good stuff. DaSilky1 (2606) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 8, 2010
Draft @ linkery: pours bronze, solid head. Squashish nose...full bodied with a pumpkin flesh flavors, pretty clean and enjoyable actually with crisp hopping beneath. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 23, 2010
Draft. Pours an amber toned body with a mostly white head and a ring of lacing. Spicy with cinnamon, incense, squash, earth and light nutmeg. A soft spiced body with a thin finish. Okay.

Appearance: Pours copper with a thin white film atop.
Aroma: Pumpkin pulp and sweet malt.
Taste: Nutmeg, slightly sweet malt and hop spice.
Mouthfeel: Thin to medium. Decent carb.
Overall: Average, solid. No strikes against it for a pumpkin beer. Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 8, 2010
Tap @ Hamilton’s. Pours a mostly clear orange amber with a small off white ring. Nose of lightly roasted malts, light spice. A very drinkable beer, finished my pint in a bout 10min. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 3, 2010
Poured a golden orange color, nose was conservative with the stereotypical pumpkin beer spices, the malt profile stands out just as much. Taste is good, light and easy drinking for a pumpkin beer. A nice beer, and unique to the style. refreshing change of pace. Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 21, 2011
On tap at Urge in RB/Poway on the Tap Takeover night. They had 20 different brews from Green Flash that day. Not my fave style of beer normally because of how overpowering they typically are. Nowhere near as good as the JP Pumpkin, this one however is not overpowering and gross. Nose is lightly and subtly pumpkin and the pie spices. Taste is not too far off of the nose. Light pumpkin, light spices. Nice malty and hoppy mouth to go along with the rest. Not bad at all. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - NOV 24, 2010
Pours red/brown in color. A little bit of spice in the nose. Medium/low pumpkin flavor. Tastes real and not fake. Spice is in the flavor but not intrusive. Mellow but flavorful. Some hops poke through in the end too.
