On tap at Beer Revolution, Calgary. Hazy medium golden body, creamy white head that retains nicely. Oily, piney hop profile, earthy and pungent. Oily mouthfeel, with somewhat restrained bitterness. snoworsummer (6374) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 21, 2015
From a bottle. Pours opaque orange amber with a frothy bubbly off white head. Tastes like caramel, smooth alcohol, hop resin, grapefruit, and nutty malt. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like nutty malt, caramel, hop resin, and grapefruit. pintbypint (3974) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 21, 2015
12oz draught at Edmonton Beer Revolution. Orange brew with light hazing. Fine beaded white cap. Nose has orangey hops and a bit of malt. Taste has caramel and toffee sweet malts with a nice layer of citrus hops. Citrusy aftertaste. Not as bitter as I was hoping, but enjoyable.

Pours golden orange, foamy white head, lots of lacing. Aroma is strongly citrus, with hints of resin. Taste is tart citrus, caramel, malt and finishes with a light, sharp bitterness. Full bodied, rich, slightly sticky, with soft carbonation. Great brew. Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 12, 2015
Hazel amber brew. This is a good lunch. Smells a touch harsh. I smell booze, astringent, very medical, hidden pine, some other stuff. Not bad nothing special. Taste is the same really. Massive bitterness. I can drink this but.... but......... but.......... but this is far from a choice I’ll do again. I’m watching darts on TV.

12oz tulip glass on tap at Beer Revolution’s Edmonton location pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is a nice blend of tropical fruits and citrus with some piney notes. Taste is a grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with decent carbonation that tickles the tongue nicely. I really enjoyed this brew, just a great DIPA. jgb9348 (6638) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - FEB 6, 2015
Slightly hazy copper and orange coloured body with a rich, one centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, pine, flowers, earth and quite a bit of perfume. Full-bodied; Rich resin flavour with pine, passionfruit, pineapple, flowers and grass, all with a very defined malt flavour and tons of sweetness from the fruit and all the unfinished sugars. Aftertaste shows more resin and pineapple flavours than anything else, but the alcohol comes heavy at the finish, very warming! Overall, a very nice beer for the style, and definitely a big beer - almost showing some Barley Wine Qualities, but the Imperial IPA aspects still hit hardest. I sampled this Green Flash-special twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 30-November-2014 for US$3,49 sampled at home in Washington on 05-February-2015 after just coming back from Southern California. Wow, a hardcore DIPA ! Aroma is sweet tropical fruit, with malt and sweet alcohol notes. The taste is bitter , bitter pine, a great beer, if you are a hop head.
