355ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, shared with djoeye. Clear golden body. Beige head some of it remaining. Dried fruity smell, some vapour of alcohol. Flavoured of almond, honey, pine and dried fruits. Heavy stuff with noticeable alcohol. Alright, far from great though (Tromsø 27.07.2015).

Competent and drinkable fresh DIPA. From Premier Gourmet. Boozy finish. Good aroma.

clear yellow, smooth offwhite head. mild but quite bitter hoppy aroma. flavor is very bitter hoppy, slightly malty, kinda one-sided, an DIPA with just loads of all without much attention to detail. reminds me of some of the stronger rogue ipa’s.

"Wow. Loved this one. Wasn’t sure how much I would. I love their West Coast IPA...in fat, more so than Palate Wrecker or the Imperial IPA. This one, though, super fresh as it was, packed the right amount of hop-popping aroma and flavor with a big malty sweet backbone without interfering with the fact that it’s an IPA. Barleywineish in body, though not too heavy. Pine and citrus on the nose and tongue followed up with a carmel malt and a blast of tropical fruit. Loved it...kept my nose in the bottle all night. One of the best IPA/IIPAs I’ve had this year."

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a near clear golden amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has bitter pine and citrus with backing notes of sweet grain, caramel and musty tropical fruits. Flavor starts with bitter pine hops but finish has notes if earthy citrus, earthy tropical fruits and sweet grains.

Bottle 355ml @ geokkjer
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, orange, grape, pine and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long warm, bitter and fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Seems a bit old would like to try it fresh.

Draft... Pours clear and amber with a large, frothy, white head. Good retention. The nose is crazy-spicy. Too spicy and nearly medicinal. The aroma also features light rations of American biscuits, crackers and overall graininess. Ultra full-bodied and velvety with stinging carbonation. The flavor is harshly bitter and tongue-numbing. The malt bill presents light notes of caramel and English biscuits. Wow - a bit excessive. Not flawed, but not my thing at all.

j12601 (10955) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle at Andy’s for New Years Eve. Pours a clear golden orange with a thin to medium sized white head. Big bold caramel and citrus on the nose, a huge toffee and baking cookies note. Medium-bodied, aggressive hops, long lingering grapefruit finish with some warming alcohol. Nice.

DocLock (10652) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2013
Bottles from Wegmans and Capone’s. Pours hazy dark straw toward gold with frothy off-white head. Nose is peppery hops, florals, mango and pineapple citrus. Tastes crisp, with mostly tropical fruity hops up front, some late peppery notes and a good balance.
