Red-amber with big, foamy beige head / Big nose of fresh cut pine and weed / Medium body, chewy with sharp, biting hops and long finish / Flavors of fresh cut pine, weed, resin, grapefruit, and burnt sugar / Perfect, but no amber ale. It’s an IPA. mrhoppy (1196) - Santa Clara, California, USA - AUG 30, 2011
Fabulous beer! Big, hoppy, malty, grainy, sweet, delicious. If there were no other beers left in the world but this one. I would be perfectly happy with it. It’s that good.
