UPDATED: JAN 18, 2010 strong aromatic hop nose, muddy amber with ample head and great lacing. easy to drink, very tasty! Strongly bitter when fresh and the sharp contrast to the light body is nothing like an amber to me. Diggin’ it. kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 14, 2008
Bottle courtesy of markwise. Pours a clear amber color with one finger white head that settles slowly and provides lacing on the glass. Aroma is hops, grapefruit, citrus, some honey and spice. Flavor is malty and hoppy with the grapefruit-citrus-like flavors predominating. Some orange and ripe non-citrus fruit notes come through as the beer warms. Generally medium body with a hoppy and sweet finish. edmajorjoe (80) - Vail, Arizona, USA - DEC 14, 2008
