People who love hops absolutely must visit Green Flash’s Hop Odyssey series. People who specifically love Citra hops must seek out Citra Session IPA. Seriously. If you love the juiciness, aromatics, and moderate-high acidity of Citra, you’ll probably love this session-able IPA built around it. The brew has a light orange appearance with a pure white head. Aroma isn’t as huge as some dry-hopped IPA’s, but it’s beautiful. Orange, peach, lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, and a bit of grass. Flavor translates some of that tropical character while also allowing Citra Session to be a lighter-bodied and refreshing Session IPA. There’s plenty of grassy sweetness, toasted malt, and of course, crisp bitterness. Session IPA’s are great for the summer months. This one is extra great. Bottle at Bier:thirty Hazy orange with a short lived off white head. Musty bitter pity hop flavors. Quite bitter at the end. Not a lot of fresh hop flavor up front. Dry and sharp. Bold for a session Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 11, 2015
Bottle at The Rover, Gothenburg. Clear pale golden beer with an offwhite head. Hoppy, citrus, grassy aroma, grassy. Hoppy, grassy flavour with some metallic notes. puboflyons (3498) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 4, 2015
From the bottle dated 01/24/15 - so it is not as fresh as I would have preferred. But it looks very nice with its yellow, heady pour. Active carbonation. Pleasant aroma of citrus, grass, and floral notes. The body is medium and smooth. The taste has a mild to moderate bitterness at the finish. Despite being 3 months old it is still quite a tasty one. sulawang (1197) - - APR 25, 2015
Visual: Pours clear golden amber with a small creamy head, a thin layer of micro retention, lots of slow and steady streams.
Nose: bright lemon-orange-pine with some pineapple, quite fruity. (lvl-6)-pungency
Attack: crisp bite, citrus hop oils
Mid-palate: (lvl-4)-sweetness, (MAIN) resin, barley malt, orange-grapefruit peel, -> transitions to dry, fizzy-light creamy mouthfeel
Finish: grapefruit bitter hops, lingering hopped bitter finish.
Summary: My first "session" IPA, basically lots of hop flavour with a much slower alcoholic buzz. Okay I guess, goes better with a meal. Unfortunately the citrus oils disappear as the beer warms, leaving only the bitterness behind.

Expensive bottle at the Christmas Day dining table. Slim-capped misted blonde. Big crisp beautiful Citra aromatics; pink grapefruit, tomato vine, Darjeeling, perfumed armpit and cat piddle. Lean and hop forward with zest and curry leaf over a dry nutty base. Some serious stewed greenery and celery. English mineral streaks like a struck match. A very fine Transatlantic/English-style GA. anders37 (27062) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2015

Appreciate the ’Session IPA’ category but haven’t found a stand out. Solid addition with citrus but lacks the backbone that most in the style also have as a deficiency. So many options. A decent one...but many are.
