COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a slightly hazy gold with an average size lasting fluffy white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma of hempy and citrusy hops, a bit herbal as well, along with some bready malt and grain in the back. Flavour follows, but is a touch watery and has a decent bitter finish. Average bodied. Pretty good beer.

Aroma is west coast hops, pine, floral, tropical fruit malt. Appearance is darker than I’d like, golden amber with a white head. Taste is very full, lots of pine, minimal tropical sweetness and light floral characters. Mouthfeel is medium body, crisp carbonation. Overall, this is a pretty good representation of the style.

bottle courtesy of mister minderbinder, many thanks bro! clear bright gold with a small reviving white cap, some retention and lacing. sulfuric citrus, pale lean spicy maltiness, white grapes - white wine, nelson-esques, faint catpee, some apricot fruitiness, clean. moderate carbonation, light body - almost oily; balanced grassy-spicy-grapefruity finish. nothing explosive, but a perty nice citra session offering.

12 oz bottle served in a snifter. BB date stamp: 13 Jan. 2016. 65 IBU. 4.5% ABV. Sparkling clear golden-honey colored body topped by a weak head that does manages to leave a very durable but thin island of foam on top for a good while, and to leave some spotty lacing. Strong Citra hop aroma - no watered down IPA here. Flavor: Mild for a West Coast IPA, but admirably flavorful for a 4.5% ABV ale. Very low bitterness for style, especially before the finish.

Draft pour pint at Frankies pizza. Pours a light golden color with a big bubble head and lace. Solid session here. Easy drinking, heavy hop character, citrus fruit, and a cool, low bitter finish. Very tasty.

Appearance was clear orangish gold with diminishing creamy white and finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are tropical and soft citrus fruits abound with a touch of pale malt sweetness. Taste are pineapple, orange, grapefruit upfront with slight malt sweet mid sip, finishing with soft cedar, pine finish. Palate is smooth creamy CO2 with light body, lasting balanced fruity slightly drying finish. Overall a solid west coast session IPA, highlighting g the Citra hops.

12 oz bottle purchased at Tipsy’s in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden orange with a 1/2 inch white head. The aroma is fresh citrus fruit, orange tangerine, resin and some grass towards the back. The taste is the fresh bright orange tangerine resin hop character, simple clean flavor. There is also a nice cracker malt backbone which ties the beer together nicely. The palate is light bodied with bright carbonation and the dry citrus finish, which softly bitter and mineral. Super drinkable, right up my alley.
