Decent SIPA. malvrich (364) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - OCT 1, 2015
Bottle dated best by 2/3/16 into a tulip.
A: Mostly clear tawny gold with a tight 1 finger head. Few rising bubbles seen. Good retention without much lacing.
S: Sharp grapefruit zest and pith aroma. Maybe a whiff of caramel.
T: An initial hit of sweetness greets the tongue immediately before sharp, biting bitterness. Great malt flavor here which seems to be a rarity in the style.More pith and pine than citrus in flavor. Points for distinction.
M: Very light body but resinous and sticky on the mouth. Good carb tingle.
O: Overall I think this may be rated so highly for distinction rather than actual deliciousness. Even so, I agree that it earns points for standing out among its peers. Tastes quite good but the malt makes it a powerhouse as the citra is the lone hop. Citra is well showcased. On a side note, I’ve seen others comment and I agree that the GF labels need work. Looks more like some automotive product (octane booster?) however I digress. Very good SIPA, the shit is expensive though. jahshuwuh (567) - USA - SEP 30, 2015
A mostly clear golden color with finger of white head. Smells of dank weed, citrus, tropical, onion, grass. Taste is a dank citrus hop, smidgen of cracker like malt in the finish. Citra done well, easy and sessionable.

Bottle. Pours a golden orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus. Taste is citrus, bread, some caramel. Nice beer. nickd717 (4999) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Bomber. Clear deep orange-copper color with a lasting one-finger white head. The aroma hits your nose like one big bad motherf***er. Citra hops in your face, fool. Lemon, orange, and grapefruit notes described on the label nail it spot-on. Malt character is slightly noticeable, a hint of maris otter, caramel and nuts, then a bitter hop blast. Lighter body, high drinkability, and lively carbonation. Legit AF. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 27, 2015
Thanks to Minderbinder for bringing this back! Best by Feb 27, 2016 so who knows how old... Pours a clear golden with a small white head that leaves intense lacing. Nose is of dank hops, tropical fruits and cereals. Mostly dank, grassy hops, though. Taste is lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Some sweet cereals in the taste with dank hops again. Body is light to medium and carbonation moderately high. Overall a really enjoyable session IPA, I’ll be back! JDBaker11058 (2427) - Maryland, USA - SEP 27, 2015
appearance: clear orange-gold with a bright white creamy head, some lacing. aroma: scads of bright citrus, a little grass, and a bit of caramel. taste: toasted brown bread and caramel, with bright refreshing and zesty citrus notes (grapefruit, blood orange, lemon). finish: crisp and refreshing, with a little dry hoppy character to balance the caramel-bread malt. notes: Great session IPA. Extremely flavorful, good palate.

Bottle: Bold golden pour with striking clarity, lots of bubbles and topped with a thick foamy white head. Dank floral and citrus hop aroma with lighter tropical fruit notes. Seems like pineapple in there… very fruity and sweet. Hoppy, lightly sweet with a pleasant bitterness. Nice use of the Maris Otter. Finishes dry with a lingering bitterness. Nice session IPA.
