Bottle. Aroma just explodes out of this IIPA. Tons of hops in it. Lively, well carbonated pour thats got the expected orange color. Caramel and lemon in the front end with a huge hop wallop in the back end. A little too much hoppiness, maybe.

22 oz bottle. Light amber color with a thin but persistant head. What a great smell , probably the most complex ,intense floral hop and malt aroma Ive experienced in a Imperial IPA or any other beer. The taste was equally as unique as the smell. Complex floral hops and malts meshing beautifully. A great brew here.

draft at najas - first smell and taste told me the same thing....grass. definitely grassy, herbal hops easy to drink, though nothing that set my world on fire. solid, not spectacular IIPA

Pour is a clear amber with a nice white head and good lacing. Very nice aroma of hops, caramel, grapefruit, citrus, and malt. Flavors of caramel, citrus, sweet malt, fruit, and bitter hops. Thin to medium mouthfeel for the style. A very nice refreshing IIPA.

On draft at Grey Lodge in Philly. Golden in color with a nice fluffy white head that left a nice lacing. Citrusy hoppy malty aroma. Grapefruit, piney, and orangey hops. Nice hop bitterness. Tart fruity grassy flavor. Nice floral notes. Finish is bitter. Full bodied. Well balanced. Crisp and refreshing. Great.

Pours golden with white head. Aroma of tart grapefruit and pine. bitter hoppy mouthful with a long lingering bitterness. Very in your face brew. Maybe will mellow out with age...

February 8th, 2007 bottling. Super fresh. Light gold, very nice head. Fairly nice hop nose but not super great. Awfully drinkable. It goes down super easy. Nice body. Nice hop flavor. A good Double IPA, but far from great, especially for being so fresh.

Way drinkable, high-octane IIPA. Odd combination of Christmas wreath, and freshly mown lawn with a balsam note in the nose; some musty, bubble-gum fruitiness and wafflely malts; moderate, creamy body. Very nice, though a bit odd.

Hazy and nicely golden with a healthy head upon itself. Very spicy and stringent nose. Body is on the light side, but with a soft creaminess at its base. Carbonation was moderate. Hops were so strong I could feel them; electric, metallic and sharp. Massive pine and grapefruit. Quite the hop shotgun blast. Malts were subdued and restrained in the background, although some nice caramel and cocoa notes popped up here and there. Aftertaste was filled with piney-grassy juices. Tolerable amount of bitterness. 9 percent was hidden fairly well, and it gave the beer a nice edge. Fun stuff.
