Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, lemon, grass, peaches, and a bit of brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, peaches, lemongrass, and other spices, as well as lighter notes of alcohol, leading to a lightly tart finish.

[email protected], Helsinki. Golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is hops, quite much Belgian tripel with fruity and lots of sweet fruityness. Flavour is at first veyr typical fruity and yeasty Belgian tripel with a big kicking grassy, flowery and fruity kick in the sftertaste. Very pleasant stuff.

Bottled, from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Herbal nose with plenty of grapefruit. Dryish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Citrusy with notes of marzipan, hugely bitter finish. More slender and drinkable than anticipated for a beer of this size.

11th October 2008. GABF. Wasn’t sure what style this was meant to be - my notes said ’hoppy saison’ so not too far out. Finishes with a warming glow!
