On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a cloudy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of ginger, Belgian yeast, some vinous notes, and a little funk. Flavour brings out loads of pepper, followed by ginger, light vinous notes, and light tartness. Quite dry and fairly vinous. Nothing special but solid. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 1, 2011
A: The pour on this one is a hazy golden color with a very large white head.
S: Wasn’t sure what this was at first, but it definitely makes itself known as a Saison. Lots of spicy phenols, especially pepper, and plenty of fruit notes. A nice pear and apple aroma and a bit of straw and grass.
T: The flavor profile is very similar to the aroma. Lots of pepper, straw, grass, and yeast notes. The fruit character is a bit more on the sweet side with a touch of apple juice to go along with the lemon zest and pear flavors.
M: On the lighter side of medium in body with a medium to high carbonation.
O: This was a nice Saison, and good on a hot day, but not an amazing beer. Ferris (15273) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 15, 2015

Bottle from Ken at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours golden orange (or orange gold) with a very slight white head. Aroma is mixed malt and brett. Med minus body. Flavor is like oaky white wine mixed with brett. And some earthiness. It is tart/sour. Barnyard. They got this one just excellent!

(Draught) Pours a cloudy yellow body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of mustiness, lemon zest, grass, and horse blanket. Flavor of florals, herbs, vanilla, brett baked apple, subtle wood, and grass with a dry finish. slowrunner77 (12043) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 14, 2014
similar to but different than Le freak, even outside being a smaller beer. Maybe because it is thinner the brett is immediately dominant. There is also far less hops and more fruit in this brew. Good stuff. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 31, 2013

Draught, announced as 5.2% ABV Pale golden beer with small white rim and lasting lace. Apple, faint grain nose. More apple, making it really cidery; lightly sweet, but with a fine bitter edge. Medium bodied at best, long lasting flavours. Frankly more cider than beer. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - NOV 8, 2013
