Draft at Obriens during SD Beer Week! Hazy light yellow with swirling white foam. Nose is slight tart and funk, light fruits and spices. Flavor is a touch of Bret funk with effervescent pears and apples, saison spices and light grassy hop flavor and bitterness, slight oak and bready malts throughout, finishes dry. Medium-light body, medium-high carbonation, light texture. A tasty barrel-aged saison with a nice touch of funk and spices, very smooth and drinkable! wetherel (1885) - Cupertino, California, USA - NOV 15, 2009
On tap at OBrien’s. One of my more favorite Green Flash beers. Saison w/ Brett. Cloudy yellow color. Nice foamy white head. Mellowed yeasty saison aroma. Lightest of sourness. Mild Brett phenolics that I’m diggin’. Super easy to drink (always the case with GF beers) Excellent. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Bottle at Savor. Green Flash shows up at Savor! Bringing two beers which are not available--anywhere, unless you went to a dinner there and were allowed to buy a 4 pack of each. At last Savor, I had Rayon Vert which was a seminal moment for me. This beer was similar, but more refined. Straw yellow brett really comes through in the nose. Bret dominates the taste, but in a good way. At the end of the night on my way home, I could still taste the bret in the back of my mouth. A nice memory to the evening. Green Flash--make more and distribute this! HonusWagner (2191) - Florida, USA - JUL 12, 2012
A solid, very drinkable saison. Refreshing, a bit of fruity bouquet with some spice notes. An excellent beer for drinking at an outdoors festival on a hot day. Stone Sour Fest 2012.

On draft at Flanny’s, orange pour, a little hazy. Brett and orange peel aroma. Nice and funky. Taste has some nice wine character, and a little tart and just enough funk. Very, very good! skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Pours a light orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of ripe fruits, belgian yeast, musky wood, bready mats, spice, vinegar, and some red wine notes. Taste similar to the aroma but has even more wine and woody notes. Has a medium body with a dry, semi sour, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice BA Saison that is pretty unique. UPDATED: JAN 19, 2010 Tap @ SD Taproom. Pours a cloudy yellow orange color with a small wispy white ring. Nose starts with Brett funk then gives way to lemon zest and fain clove spice. Not much barrel presence on this brew, finish is fairly dry with some lemon zest. p1meatloaf (256) - Corvallis, Oregon, USA - NOV 14, 2011
In taster at Churchills. Looks light yellow. White head. Smells a bit sour and light. Tastes pretty dry with very clean palate and slight sourness. Definitely note the wild yeast. Great light belgian wild ale. OVerall 8 of 10. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 18, 2014
Draught at the Tasting Room in San Diego. Hazy yellow/apricot color, with a small white head. Fruity vinous aroma, hay, grapes, sourish, woody notes. Sourish citrus and grapes flavor, woody, white wine, grapes, red apples, tart, yeasty, some peach. Very nice sourish beer.
