Had at San Diego Brewers Guild Festival 2008. Loads of hop aromas and flavors. Grapefruit and pine cone flavors. Pretty tastey DIPA not overpowering. HopheadHans (804) - Bay Area, California, USA - NOV 18, 2008
Tap at Toronado. The name says it all. A huge hop bomb. Nice copper color. Great aromas of fruit, mainly peach and apricot. However the taste is all hops with a mouth puckering bitter finish. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 17, 2008
On tap @ Hamilton’s Tavern. Pours a deep golden orange with a 2 finger off white head that left great lacing. Big nose of pine and citrus. Flavor was big and hoppy with a good malt presence. Definitely a hop bomb! Finish was very sticky. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - NOV 1, 2008
On tap at Hamiltons. Copper red with a fizzy white head. Pine and citrus and caramel aroma and taste with a huge bitter bite. ironchefscott (357) - portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 31, 2008

Umm, wow. Pours hazy orange-gold with an impressive short-but-thick white head. Colossal citrus/floral hop aroma. Grapefruit and pine oil just pound you in the face. The taste surpasses the nose. Grapefruit, pineapple, mango, and truckloads of resin. A tad more citrus than earthy pine, but who cares. Just a little caramel malt to give it a hint of sweetness. I really have to thank the Green Flash guys for not making the chronic mistake of putting too much malt in and making this a sour-candy DIPA. Its nearly perfect the way it is. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 23, 2008
On-tap at Hamilton’s and O’Briens. Pours hazy amber with a frothy white head, good lace. Smells citrusy and potent hoppy sweet and resiny. Hate to say it but it reminds of PtY, in a good way for sure. Tastes big and resiny hoppy, earthy with big, dark citrus as well. Lots of bitter citrus flavor, complex and lingering. This stuff is hop syrup for sure! Full, syrupy body, good carbonation. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - OCT 21, 2008
Poured an amber color with a creamy, off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, caramel, and fruit. Very hoppy in the flavor. Hops were earthy and piney; not too much fruity. A little one dimensional; toffee/caramel not too present. Not too sweet. Just a solid beer; nothing too amazing. Vac (2445) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 17, 2008
Pours with an amber body topped by a thick head with lots of lacing left on the glass. Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy with notes of grafruit, pine and apricot as an underlying malt sweetness. Full bodied, smooth and warming.
