Bomber brought back from California from a recent trip. Thanks TSA for not taking it from my checked bag! Deep amber pour with a thick white head. Really nice floral nose. This is a beast of hoppiness with some strong bitterness to it too. I would put this up there with some really nice DIPA’s. OLDMANDUSTY (70) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Poured from bottle amber with a thin tan head. Smells of candied sugar, orange rind, grapefruit, and slight pine. Tastes of slight citrus, with mostly resinous hop bitterness. Smells much better than it tastes in my opinion. jazz88 (2680) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Tap @ The Bistro’s 2010 10th Annual Double IPA Festival. A brown amber color wit ha white head. An intense pine, bitter, fresh green hop flavors and aroma. BrentBlack (10) - Adirondacks, New York, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Good beer. Probably my favorite from green flash. I had heard good things and it did not disappoint.

This is an overwhelmingly hoppy beer, hence the name. It has the same strong quality that I’ve seen in everything from Green Flash. This is a hophead’s dream beer, but it may be too much for drinkers who trend more malty (syrupy) in their preferences. I would recommend this beer to hopheads and drinkers who like bitter in their beer. At 9.5% ABV, this is a good sipping beer.

Poured from the bottle, not very cold, but not warm. Very clear. Nice orange red colour. Lots of head and lacing. Aroma is very grassy with fresh wet hop character. Flavor is very bitter. Also lots of grassy earthy tones some heat from theabv. The palate is thick and oily. Finishes with a odd flavor that i get in some hoppy beers. Very dry finish. Overall a hop monster! Really different than the malt forward beers I’ve been drinking lately. mixmasterob (1057) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Clear deep golden pour with a frothy white head. Looks nice. Big aroma of juicy, citrusy, piney hops. A touch of sweet caramel but this one shines hops. Flavors were big, bold and bitter. A bit on the abrasive side, doesn’t have that smoothness of a truly great double. Huge grassy, pine sol like finish that ended bittersweet. A true uninhibited hop bomb, by definition. I guess I dug it, maybe a bit too bitter and unbalanced though. Westchesterco (2043) - mclean, Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2013

From a 12 oz bottle on Super Bowl Sunday. Pours a clear amber with a thick off white head. Citrus hop aroma. Pine, grass and citrus. Smooth mouthfeel. Bitter finish. zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - FEB 2, 2013
On tap at Oblivion Taproom in Orlando. Pours a dark orange with an off white head and sweet hop and citrus filled aroma. Taste is massive hop bitterness up front with citrus and grapefruit notes with an equally bitter, long finish. Great DIPA, tons of hoppy bitterness
