COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

35 cl bottle @ home. Pours amber with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is hoppy with a lot of pine and some citrus as well as some sweet malt. Flavour follows the aroma quite well.

Bottle pours a copper with orange hues, large tan head, active carbonation, and excellent lacing. Aroma is big pine and orange zest with hints of grapefruit, grass, and peach. Taste is similar with huge piney hop bitterness and grapefruit upfront balanced by citrus and caramel malt on the finish. Good mouthfeel with citrus flavor and palatable bitterness lingering. Happy to say that my palate was challenged rather than wrecked. Truly enjoyable Imperial IPA.

Hazy golden with a medium white head. Very nice beer with a lot of hops that bring apricots, tropical fruits and piney notes. Also a light tobacco touch that I often find when the hops re fresh. There is also a good malty body that bring some sweetness and a very refreshing long lasting bitterness.

12oz. bottle. Strongly hoppy, fruity, citric and malty aroma, with notes of brown sugar, doughy bread, pine, grapefruit, pineapple, earthiness (musky?), pepper and mild hop spice. Lightly hazy medium orange-amber color with a fine, lasting head and intricate lacing. Flavor is indeed hugely hoppy but there is plenty of malt here as well, with toasty caramel and toffeeish character amidst the admittedly off the charts hop flavor and bitterness. Plenty of citrus, pine and green, leafy herbal tones that seem to peak at the finish, as well as a lightly drying touch of alcohol. Slick, full, warming and finely effervescent mouthfeel with a hugely full body. I like this.

Bottle, bought @ Kihoskh, Cph.
Pours clear amber with a big, creamy, light off-white head. Aroma has plenty of hops, fruity, citrus, pine, grapefruit, peach. Lovely power to it. Medium to low carbonation, great fat and oily mouthfeel. Flavour is bitter, fairly fresh hoppy, again grapefruit, pine and peach. Warming viniousness, lingering quite bitter finish. Nice, even if I’d have liked the carbonation upped a bit.

22-JUL-2012, bottle @home, from "Fish & Beer". Dark golden and orange with lasting, lacing, tan head. Very hoppy with notes of grape fruit and pine. On the earthy side... ...but even fruity notes like apricot. Sweet malty. Quite creamy. Not all that alcoholic for a 9,5% brew. Fine IIPA.

On bottle at Olympen. Dark golden color, some foam. Intense hoppy aromas - very piney. Full body & high complexity. High viscosity. Sweetness , with some bitterness. Enjoyable & powerful- but a bit to sweet for my taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
