Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a dense off-white head. A somewhat herbal hop aroma, but not overly intense really. Medium body, lots of sweet malt and a little overripe fruit. Intense hop accents, again very herbal without being overly clean or crisp. A distinct hop build-up towards the finish. Nice if not exactly exceptional. 040612

355ml Flasche. Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig fruchtig, exotische Früchte. Geschmack sehr fruchtig malzig, lange Bitterkeit.

I liked this beer. Super potent with great hops kick. Dark orange pour with a mildly bubbly white head. Nose of pine and citrus. Notes of grapefruit in the flavor and a strong hops presence with slight malt. Pretty smooth on the go-down. Really tasty. Had this on tap at Rattle and Hum in NYC.

Clear orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and very bitter finish. 230812

Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUL 26, 2013

2014-05-01, draught at Pumphouse, Richmond, 16oz, 7-5-8-5-15=40
Fruity, resiny, abrasive but too heavy.

2014-02-27, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 7-5-8-5-15=40
Amber color, clear, with creamy head. Sweet and fruity beer, with a good mix of malt and caramel, medium sweetness, a bit candyish, strong bitterness, hop resins, cedar peel, and a mild animal character present in the aroma and flavor.
Good, potent, but I wouldn’t drink much of it.

Tap at the Boilermaker, Philly - 24/05/12. Copper coloured with a thin white head. Fresh grassy hops on the nose allied to a little fruit and sweet malt. Taste as aroma with pine and a hint of orange. Bitter tasting, medium dry finish.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, pine, peach, caramel and malt. Long bitter finish.

Cask gravity at GBBF 11. Orange gold with bubbly white head. Big hoppy beer. I mean the hops are huge. Big toasty hop. Big syrupy resin. Big pink grapefruit aroma. Thats pretty good for first beer. Pretty damn good
