4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
First time. Wow! Everything they said it would be. Very bitter, peppery to the max, loved it. Hop head here, the name describes it perfectly. High alcohol and IBU but very balanced, one or two would be enough.
Bottle from Midtown Wine. Pours a clear copper with a finger of foam. Big resiny nose with caramel and piney grass. Some honey on the palate, malty, bready sweetness. Feels kind of heavy. Big piney bitterness that hits mid-palate and lingers through til the finish. Big and bitter, but feels a bit heavy. Older bottle I suppose as well. Nice amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, pine, fruit/citrus, & caramel malt; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel/toffee, rich floral/herbal hops, some pineapple, citrus (notably grapefruit), and spice; Finish is bitter; Nicely balanced; Quite good DIPA. beern (179) - Alabama, USA - SEP 16, 2017
Pours caramel, golden and translucent with lots of fizzy carbonation with an aroma of malt, molasses and hops. Tastes of deep rich malt and floral hops. It has an astringent, alcohol finish. It's light-medium bodied with minimal carbonation. It's floral hops with very moderate bitterness. Less bitterness than expected. walkerrater (16) - ARGENTINA - SEP 11, 2017
Wow. Bitter for bitterness sake. Pours amber. Aroma is citrus, pine, grapefruit. Taste is strong, malty and very hoppy. So many hops that I couldn't really taste them. Just bitterness. weordie (1358) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2017
Pours copper with a thin head. A really malty aroma. Amazing bitterness but probably has lost a lot of the flavour it would have had fresh.

Bottle 355ml. Copper, yellow-tinted head. Thick and oily which together with all these hops wrecks the palate totally. All subsequent beers tonight need not apply. Very resinous taste. Aroma is bready and also some hay in there. Drank this when it wasn’t perfectly fresh and maybe some of them alphas were lost but still hoppy enough. MarcoDL (5323) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 31, 2017
Bottle. Golden color. Aroma of bitter stingy resinous hop, caramel, citrus, pine and malt. Taste has really bitter resinous hop, citrus, herbal pine, grapefruit and a heavy hop burn. Quite the pallet wrecker indeed, nice. hohops (1071) - Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2017
Appearance- amber and fairly clear, some bubbles, a big, solid off-white head. Aroma- lots of hop resin and tropical fruit, malt, orange juice, pineapple, hint of caramel. Taste- hop bitterness dominates, juicy pineapple, bitter orange, honey-glazed fruit, hops, quite a solid malt presence, full and clingy mouthfeel. Exceptionally bitter lengthy finish. Hints of fruitcake. Very good. rob19a (439) - - JUL 30, 2017
