COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

Caramel, citrus, and pine hops in the aroma. Flavor starts with a little caramel, then finishes with a healthy punch of fruit, pine, and spice. Great IPA

A hoppy twin of Six Point Resin DIPA. Strong, assertive and wonderful. In cans , from the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap as part of a flight. Definitely a huge, complex hop profile. Just not well balanced in my opinion.

Bottle. Pours gorgeous amber with a thick white foam subsiding slow with residue. Scent is gorgeous notes of hickory and ash, along with notes of bubblegum which are probably vanilla. Finish is dry and smooth. Excellent.

Botle from Hippo Beers. Orange brown, reasonable head. Grain malt aroma. Strong sweet barley sugar hop flavour. Smooth with sweet aftertaste. Not as good as the new British Imperial IPAs.

A 12 fl oz bottle with a best before date of 8th August 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a very nice clear copper amber colour with a two finger off white head that had great retention and left lots of nice sticky lacing. Aromas were earthy, piney with citrus mandarin, sweet candied orange and hints of caramel malt. Tastes of strong bitterness, lots of citrus rind, and whenever they can get through the bitterness, there’s some pine, orange, grapefruit, citrus peel with hints of bready malt and caramel. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall it was nice, but this definitely was a palate wrecker. A whole lot of bitterness, which I can certainly enjoy every now and then, but not too often.

Off white head stayed on rustic orange, still body. Huge hoppy aroma with bitter/sweet citrus & candy. Medium to full body. Thick, sticky, syrupy & tangy back. Full on hoppy flavours with malt, bitter pith, grapefruit & slightly acidic.

355ml bottle. Crystal clear amber colour with a frothy two finger off-white head. Aroma: hoppy - resin, fruit, pine. Taste: very resinous, piney, ripe fruits, caramel, malt. Very bitter, some sweetness but too much bitter hops for it to balance out. Medium body, soft carbonation. Not bad by any means but this type of DIPA doesn’t really do much for me personally now.

Bottle From Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye, Powys, consumed at Bearded Theory Festival, Saturday 27th May 2017 it was windier and cloudier today after yesterday’s amazing weather. Another difficult one to determine the colour and appearance through a green plastic drinking vessel but i’m guessing it’s hazy dark gold with a white head. Fruits with a good sweetness from the off, yes it’s very hoppy but the malt does soften and balances this out very well. A touch resiny and citrussy, it’s a really good fruity beer, not too dissimilar to Ruination. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

On tap at N.E. Tap House Grille Deep golden color with a long lasting frothy off white head. Rich tropical earthy resinous dank hops on the nose with bits of bready and light caramel to round it out. Flavor is a hint on the sweet side but the onslaught of hops balances that nicely. Moderate resinous earthy bitterness. Pretty tasty beer.

Pours deep golden with good off white head which lasts. Aromas of tropical fruit, pine, honey and cereal. Medium carbonation and good mouth feel. Big flavour of pine hops, alcohol and malt. Similar to Brewdog hardcore ipa. Big bitter finish and medium sweet
