COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If Green Flash were founded in historical Belgium, Rayon Vert would have been our flagship brew. A bold layering of hops finds balance from traditional malts. Bottle conditioning with fresh ale yeast and Brettanomyces finishes the beer, adding a delightful effervescence, dryness and continuously evolving character. Rayon Vert is Green Flash.

Bradbalk (9) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - FEB 11, 2012
Poured a nice and bright golden orange with a bit of haze, had a big and sticky white head, long lasting with tons of lacing. The smell is Great, very Bretty, a nice big sourdough tartness with a touch of belgiany spice. The flavor is a bit rustic, with a dry light cedary flavor, a mild bit of sour and a decent level of herbal bitterness. Has some light spicy yeast characters with a lemony flavor, and would be great except for a bit of a light coppery tinge sneaking through that is a bit detracting. Has a very light body with a long dry finish. Very Good Bretty Belgian Ale, will be enjoying more of these in the future.

AgentAle (1809) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 24, 2015
Aroma is clove, citrus, an earthiness and funkiness. Taste is sweet crisp maltiness with light honey and caramel. A definite sour and vinegar presence here but it finished pretty smooth. Appearance is a clear gold with a medium fluffy head that retains quite well.

Either I got a bad batch or this beer is whack. HUGE carbonation level, spurted all over my desk and took 20 min to pour a decent looking beer. Yeasty flavor is about all I get other than my mouth wanting to explode from the carbonation. Some orange I guess. All 4 bottles in the pack had the same crazy carbonation. Reminds me of a high gravity homebrew bottled way too early.

snoworsummer (6057) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 15, 2015
Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy bright gold with a thick frothy white head. Tastes like pine and grassy hop bitterness, with some funkyness, light bready malts, and some citrus fruit, and with some lingering hop resin. Medium body and carbonation. Smells grassy, like pine, and citrus hops, biscuit and straw malts, orange peel, lemon, herbs, and some funk.
