Clear Amber with a thin ring of white foam around the edge. Very rye spicy nose with a toasted malt and amberish background and a bit of earthy hop resin. Smooth and toast malty caramel undertones, lots of rye, some bitterness, but mostly smooth semisweetnes. Really nice and nuanced. SPDickerman (1315) - Texas, USA - AUG 20, 2015

I’ve been passing by this one at almost every bev shop, hesitatingly reaching for it, but never following through. I did this time. Old bottle, best-by is October of this year. Oh well, let’s give it a shot...Deep ruby pour into snifter with a super, at least two finger head. Aroma of toasted caramel malt, little peppery rye, with some really nice lemon-lime and pine dry-hop additions. Still going strong, I see. Flavor is a chewy caramel with the sharp rye alongside, meanwhile juicy floral notes modestly shine, just enough to make it lip-smacking. Medium carb, medium resin on the finish. For being an old bottle...not bad at all! yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2015

This is a sold beer. Aroma was nice. Iced tea, rye and earth. Pour was a nice dark amber/medium brown with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was very big and full. Strong iced tea flavors with heavy hops and strong burnt malt flavors. I think my taste buds associate rye with iced tea because most rye beers have that flavor to me. Dry earthy finish. Nice carbonation round this beer out. Padron4KM (811) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - AUG 2, 2015
